These are modern replacements for the black plastic T-knob-style wing nuts and wing bolts used on late-'70s and early-'80s Ludwig Hercules hardware, as well as on many other Ludwig components such as tom holders, bass drum spurs, and accessory mounts.
Available in several thread sizes and styles, these replacement handles are made from solid cast polymer and are much more durable than many of the original plastic versions. They can also be used as replacements or upgrades on other brands and models of drum hardware where the thread size and length are compatible.
Notes I have done my best to track down the original information and match these parts to Ludwig catalogs, parts lists, and hardware from the period. I believe the information below is quite accurate, but Ludwig did use different thread sizes on some components over the years - particularly spur brackets and bass drum tom mounts. Because of that, I always recommend double-checking the thread size and bolt length on your existing hardware before ordering.
