These are modern replacements for the black plastic T-knob style wing-nuts and wing-bolts used on late '70s and early '80s Ludwig Hercules hardware, as well as many other drum components like tom holders and bass drum spurs. Available in various thread sizes and styles, these handles are cast from a solid cast polymer, making them much more durable than the original versions. They can also be used as an upgrade on other brands and models of hardware.
I have done my best to track down information and match part numbers to old Ludwig parts lists and catalogs, and I believe these are all quite accurate. Some components have used different thread sizes over the years (such as spur brackets and bass drum tom mounts), so it is always best to double-check the length and thread you need before ordering.
